Frequently Asked Questions

What’s included in your services?

I take huge pride not only in my makeup application, but making sure you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible when you’re in my chair. Each service is tailored to each client to make sure you’re getting the makeup application, products and techniques that suit your individual features and personality.

All clients will receive skin prep, including a light cleanse, exfoliation (if needed), hydration and SPF.

I will also provide you with a small touch up kit to take with you.

What’s factored into your pricing?

To name a few, my pricing is based off and incorporates the following:

  • Product cost, including tools (eg chairs and lights), in addition to the actual makeup products

  • Frequent training and upskilling

  • Time spent communicating with clients

  • Insurances: public liability and kit contents

  • Time spent cleaning brushes and sanitising products

  • Website and client management subscriptions

  • Tax

How long will my makeup application take?

Depending on the look, I like to allow at least 45-60 minutes. For a full glam look this can often take a bit longer. Please refer to my services page here.

What’s the difference between soft glam and full glam makeup?

Valid question! Allow me to explain what I class as the difference between the two.

Soft glam: Think, your face - but better! For soft glam makeup the goal here is simply to enhance your features with a softer colour palette to bring out your natural radiance. This type of makeup is popular for clients who might be having headshots taken, family photos, a work event or for commercial shoots - to name a few.

Full glam: Here’s where we tend to include more bolder elements such as contouring, winged eyeliner, cut creases, glitter, face gems, bright colours or a smokey eye etc. Full glam is recommended if you’re looking to make more of a statement with your makeup for things like balls, special events, 21st’s, engagement parties, awards nights etc.

Do I need a wedding consult for my bridal makeup?

I always recommend for brides to book in a wedding consult with me so we can meet in advance, chat about your big day and nail your makeup ahead of the day. I’ll take notes of the products I’ve used and then we will keep in touch so you can report back on how the makeup performed, photographed and felt for you.

Do you travel?

Yes absolutely! Please contact me for a quote.

Can you do my makeup using my own products?

Yes, however the same rates still apply. Please also refer to my T&Cs for my health and safety standards.

Do you do hair also?

Not at this stage. However I have plenty of amazing hairstylists I can recommend to you.

How far out should I book

As soon as you have a date you’d like me as your MUA for. For weddings, I open my books a year/up to 1.5 years in advance and dates can fill up pretty quickly.

What brands do you stock in your kit?

  • Charlotte Tillbury

  • Dior

  • Natasha Denona

  • Estee Lauder

  • Mac

  • Nars
